Fundación ECOTIC and Fundación ECOTIC CLIMA have opened the call for the submission of bids for the transport and treatment of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) throughout Spain for the 2027 financial year.
The process will be conducted through the ECOTIC Negotiation Platform, available at licitaciones.ecotic.es, with the aim of establishing an efficient, competitive waste logistics and management model based on economic, social and environmental sustainability criteria.
Companies interested in participating should send an email to operativa@ecotic.es including:
- Company name and Tax ID.
- Representative’s name, identification number and position.
- Contact telephone number and email address.
- The invitation document signed by the representative as acceptance of the procurement procedure established by Fundación ECOTIC and Fundación ECOTIC CLIMA.
Key dates
- Invitation published: 13 July 2026.
- Deadline for questions: 31 July 2026.
- Deadline for responses to questions: 28 August 2026.
- Deadline for bid submission: 14 September 2026 at 3:00 p.m. (CET).
The procurement process will be governed by the principles of transparency, competition and equal treatment, with particular consideration given to proximity, economic conditions, service quality, traceability, previous experience and regulatory compliance.
Bids may be submitted for transport services, treatment services or both, in accordance with the WEEE categories established under Royal Decree 110/2015 and other applicable regulations.
